日本語を母語とする英語学習者が、英語の文法をどのように身につけていくのかを研究しています。

筑波大学大学院 博士後期課程に在籍し、第二言語習得を専門としています。that 痕跡効果をはじめとする統語的な制約に注目し、学習者の文法がどのように形づくられていくのかを、英語母語話者との比較を通して調べています。
“Who do you think (*that) left?” のように that の有無で容認性が変わる現象を、日本語母語話者がどのように学んでいくのか。副詞効果や韻律の影響にも注目しています。
日本語を母語とする英語学習者が、母語には存在せず学校で明示的に教えられることもない複雑な英語の文法をどのように習得していくのか、その発達過程を検討しています。
offlineタスクの容認性判断課題とonlineタスクの自己ペース読み課題・視線計測課題などを組み合わせた複数の実験手法により、第二言語の文法習得の実態を探ります。
